This 16 AWG Automotive Primary Wire is a versatile type of hook-up wire that consists of stranded bare copper conductors. This wire benefits from a thin-wall, cross-link polyethylene (XLPE) insulation. This high-quality coating protects the wire from oils, fuels, solvents, chemicals, and abrasion; additionally, this wire can resist temperatures as high as 125°C (257°F). Combining these traits with its impressive flexibility, this wire is perfect for circuit wiring applications that meet SAE J1128 requirements.
