Our 12-gauge TXL Automotive Primary Wire is extremely durable thanks to its thin-walled, cross-linked (XLPE) insulation. This not only protects the wire from chemicals, abrasion, fuels, oils, and solvents, but it also allows it to withstand high temperatures of up to 125°C (257°F). The TXL wire itself is made of stranded bare copper conductors so that, despite the protective insulation, it is still flexible enough to fit wherever it’s needed.
