Our 14 AWG TXL Automotive Primary Wire is a heat-resistant, flexible, and durable option for your engineering needs. Not only is it able to resist temperatures of up to 125°C (257°F), it also benefits from a thin-walled, cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation that protects the wire from chemicals, fuels, solvents, oils, and abrasion. The hook-up wire consists of stranded bare copper conductors and is flexible enough to fit wherever it is needed. TXL wire is perfect for higher temperature circuit wiring applications that meet SAE J1128 requirements (such as generator applications, automotive projects, and electric motor wiring).
