This 14 AWG GXL Automotive Primary Wire is perfect for higher temperature, rugged circuit wiring applications, as it benefits from a thin-walled, cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation. The XLPE coating shields the core stranded copper conductor from abrasion, oils, chemicals, fuels, and solvents, while allowing the wire to remain flexible enough to fit within the desired space. The wire can withstand up to 125°C (257°F) and has a voltage rating of 60 volts. Remington Industries recommends this product for automotive, electric motor, and generator applications, or any project that specifies SAE J1128 requirements. This wire is specified for Ford ESB-M1L 85-B and Chrysler MS-8900 projects. It is also RoHS & REACH compliant.
