UL Style 1429 hook-up wire consists of a tinned copper conductor insulated with an irradiated, cross-linked PVC jacket. It is rated for up to 150V and 80°C (176°F). The overall diameters of the wire in this category range from 0.036"–0.078" (28–16 AWG).
