This SMA coaxial RF connector is a thread-coupling straight plug that is designed to attach to a variety of coaxial cables via soldering, crimping, and applying heat-shrink sleeving. This type of connector is commonly utilized in high-frequency signal transmission operations including telecommunications, WiFi/network antennas, microwave systems, software-defined radio, radio astronomy, and ham/CB/other radio setups.

The connector must be assembled per Assembly Instructions C53.  Alternatively, Remington Industries offers completed coax cable assemblies with SMA connectors attached to several types of cables for your convenience.
