This simple, high quality magnet wire is perfect for countless applications due to its high temperature properties, including use in transformers, motors, solenoids, wound coils and other instruments. This magnet wire meets the NEMA MW 35-C standard for operating temperature (200°C/392°F). It is even ideal for us in severe thermal overload applications.
This copper wire is insulated with a thin layer of modified polyester with a polyamideimide overcoat, to protect it from short-circuiting.
This wire is made of raw copper and drawn to meet size requirements based on the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) standards. This specific product is 20 AWG. A range of other sizes from 14-44 AWG are available.
